Project Summary
This project explored how Auckland’s South-East Asian community understands, prepares for, and responds to natural disasters. The team focused on understanding the best ways of engaging Cambodian, Malaysian, Phillipine, Thai and Vietnamese communities in conversations about natural disaster preparedness given the question, how do you communicate with residents when many don’t speak English?
